Happy November! It's officially a new month, which means more new music for you. If you're looking for some music to kick off your November, this is the place to find it. Here's this weeks best picks for new albums, EPs, and singles that are out today, November 1st.

  • Earlier this week the genre bending rock band King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard put out a new single titled Phantom Island. The single follows the release of their 26th album Flight b741 and also marks another genre shift. In this most recent single, the band introduced the use of an orchestra and have announced they will continue that theme into their next album.

  • Yesterday, we saw new music from AVOID. They released a new single titled Burn as well as announcing that they have signed to UNFD Records. It is their first new release since their second album, Cult Mentality, came out in 2022.

  • On Halloween, The Massachusetts based pop-punk trio Driveways aptly released a new single entitled, Ghost of a Smile. The group is known for their fall theming throughout their discography and this single is no exception. They also announced they would be releasing a new EP on 11/22.

  • The emo rap group Chase Atlantic dropped their new album LOST IN HEAVEN. It is their fourth album and their first release since 2023. The group has been embarking on a tour to support the album and recently held album listening parties in Brooklyn, NY and Orlando, FL.

  • Rising emo bands Swiss Army Wife and Kerosene Heights released a split EP today. If you love emo, you'll love this EP. Both bands have been on a steady rise and Swiss Army Wife even covered the Modern Baseball track Broken Cash Machine for the diy cover compilation of You’re Gonna Miss It All.
