In a new blog segment on Chord Clicks, we'll be going over some new releases that have hit by the time we all finally make it to Friday. If you're unsure what new music you could be streaming, here are a few anticipated tracks, albums, and EPs that will all be out by today, Friday the 20th. While this isn't anywhere close to a comprehensive list, we grabbed a few that stood out to us or some that we've personally been waiting for (looking at you, Birdwatching by Cliffdiver).

  • Starting with earlier this week, Origami Angel released Sixth Cents (Get It) / secondgradefoofight which features six tracks that will be on their upcoming album Feeling Not Found which comes out on 9/27. If the rest of the fourteen-track album is anything like the first six, we're anticipating a great record from the band.

  • Also earlier this week, FELICITY released single WASTED which follows three other singles from the band, one being CODEBREAKER which was released following the "hacking" of their social media accounts.

  • On the 19th, both Hot Mulligan and State Champs had singles drop leading Hot Mulligan to have a little fun with State Champs frontman on X about them sharing a release date of the songs. Both Fly Move (The Whole Time) by Hot Mulligan and Light Blue by State Champs are good listens this week.

  • Birdwatching by Cliffdiver came out today, Friday the 20th, and was a highly awaited album by the whole Chord Clicks team. At the time of penning this, there are still a few hours until release, but we can only imagine that the album is as incredible as the singles that were released from it.

  • Also out today is new track If I'm Being Honest by Bearings who released Gone, So Gone (reimagined) and other reimagined tracks earlier this month.
