As we wrap up September and move further into the fall season, new music just keeps on coming. If you were looking for a place of direction when it comes to new releases, here are a few anticipated tracks, albums, and EPs that will be out today, Friday the 27th or that have come out throughout the week. We wish we could keep track of everything, but since we can’t this is just some of our highlights from the past week.

  • Earlier this week one of the best up and coming emo bands, Ben Quad released Your Face as an Effigy from their forthcoming EP Ephemera which is out on 10/25. It follows one other single You’ll Get Nothing and Like It as well as their signing to Pure Noise Records. We’re expecting another great EP from the band as both these tracks lean to the heavier side.

  • On the 26th, singer-songwriter Bike Routes released World Apart from his upcoming EP Rush of Energy which also comes out 10/25. It follows the lead single You Want It You Got It which was released earlier last month. We anticipate this EP will be great for as the weather gets colder and you are looking for more acoustic heavy tracks.

  • For those of you more interested in heavier music, Rain City Drive released their third album Things Are Different Now today. It follows the five singles they have released already for this album.

  • If you like post-hardcore you should check out CORPUS II by Show Me the Body. The album includes features from Zulu and High Vis as well as others making it another great release for post-hardcore.

  • Feeling Not Found by Origami Angel is out today, Friday the 27th, it has been a highly anticipated release since its announcement back in July. At the time of writing we still have a few hours until it is out but from the singles we can already guess this is going to be another incredible album from the duo.

  • An honorable vinyl release mention goes to Modern Baseball’s, You're Gonna Miss It All (Deluxe Anniversary Edition). It has been 10 years of this iconic album and a few months ago the band graced us with two never released demos of Rock Bottom and Pothole. The deluxe vinyl is out today and features a hardcover book with 96 pages of photos from Jess Flynn.
